General Policies
- Members can close their accounts at any time.
- All policies and regulations are subject to change by Bettortimes.com without prior notice other than posting such changes to the website.
- Management reserves the right to refuse any bet or part of a bet without prior notice, at any time.
- Member’s winnings will not be reported to any government agencies. It is the responsibility of members to report any wagering income to their respective governmental agencies.
- It is the member’s responsibility to ensure they keep their username and password along with any other security details confidential. In the event that a member feels his/her information has been compromised they should notify the company immediately where upon new details may be given.
- Members are solely responsible for their account transactions and should keep all account information confidential. The member is solely responsible for any unauthorized use of the member’s account.
- All Internet rules apply to telephone wagers except where noted. Internet members may place wagers via the phone and phone members may place wagers via the Internet.
- Member agrees to verify Account Balances on each call or Internet session prior to wagering. By verification of your account balance you agree that all previous transactions are correct and you do not have any claims.
- A customer is untitled to put up a claim on a wager within a week of date the wager was placed. No claims will be honored after this time period.
- Claims may take up to 72 hours to process.
- Recordings will be available for the customer from Monday to Thursday.
- Every transaction will be saved to a customer account history file. All phone transactions will be recorded and saved on tape files. In all cases of a dispute, both management and the member agree that the recording of the transaction shall serve as the final determination in the dispute and all wagers adjusted accordingly. When you confirm the read-back or click confirm on the online page the wager is considered final unless there is an obvious bad line offered.
- All transactions are recorded using Eastern Time (ET).
- All Sports Wagers must be made by the scheduled game time of each Event.
- All Horse Wagers must be made 4 minutes prior to track post time.
- There will be no refunds, changing of plays or switching of teams after an official wager has been placed. Exceptions do apply and are at the discretion of the management.
- All wagers placed on events with obvious erroneous lines resulting from human error will be graded no action.
House Rules
- You must be at least 18 years old to place a valid wager with Bettortimes.
- All game times are posted based on Eastern Time (ET).
- All transactions are recorded using Eastern Time (ET).
- All transactions are in US Dollars.
- It is your responsibility to check your account balance at the beginning of each betting session.
- Las Vegas rules will apply to any rule or wager not covered by the rules and regulations herein.
- With regard to suspended games, protest games, or overturned decisions, Bettortimes follows Las Vegas gaming rules for wagering purposes.
- The home team is always listed as the bottom team unless otherwise specified.
- When wagering on the Internet, members are solely responsible for their own account transactions. Please be sure to review your wagers for any mistakes before sending them in. Once a transaction is complete, it cannot be changed.
- BAD LINE RULE: Bettortimes will not accept wagers on events posted with obvious or gross line errors. Management also reserves the right to cancel any wager made on an obvious "bad" line whether due to software or human error. Also any wagers put in after an event has started and is not permitted by management will be deleted.
- OVERTIME PERIODS:
- When wagering on totals, overtime periods are counted in the final score.
- When wagering on quarters, overtime periods are not included.
- Overtime is included in 2nd half wagering.
- READ BACK IS FINAL:
After wagers are placed by telephone, the phone clerk will read back the wagers. If the read back or confirmation is correct, the client must re-confirm wagers by stating their client number and password. If a client confirms a read back where the telephone clerk made a mistake, the wager is final. It is the responsibility of the client to correct any errors during the read back.
In the event a customer does not hear the read back due to technical difficulties (disconnection, etc), it is the customer’s responsibility to call back immediately to confirm his wager(s) or the wager(s) will be voided. Please, call back to confirm your wager(s).
- WINNERS AND LOSERS ARE OFFICIAL AFTER:
- Football (NFL & NCAA): 55 minutes of play
- Basketball (NBA): 43 minutes of play
- Basketball (NCAA): 35 minutes of play
- Hockey (NHL): 55 minutes of play
- All other sporting events: 55 minutes of play
- Overtime periods, quarters or extra innings are counted in the final score when wagering on totals, money line and spread betting.
- On half time wagers, overtime periods are included as part of the 2nd half.
- Other Sports: All other contests that involve a scheduled length of play or time limit must play to their conclusion or have five minutes or less of the scheduled playing time remaining when the contest concludes to be considered official for wagering purposes.
- Baseball (MLB): Moneylines = 4.5 innings if home team is winning, Run Lines & Totals = 8.5 innings if home team is winning.
